Stations of the Cross & Holy Week Schedule

This year every Friday during Lent we will celebrate the Stations of the Cross at 5 pm at our cohort parish, St. Anthony, followed by Mass (celebrated by Fr. Paul) at 5:30 pm and a Fish Fry from 5 -7 pm.

Ash Wednesday (Mar 6) and Good Friday (April 19) are days of complete fast and abstinence.  Other Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence.

Fast: Binds all those over 18 and under 59 years of age: only one full meal is allowed, with the quantity of the other two meals not exceeding that of the full meal; eating between meals is not permitted.

Abstinence: Binds all over the age of 14; no meat is allowed.

Holy Thursday (April 18) - Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7pm followed by a reception in Damascus.
Good Friday (April 19) - Celebration of the Lord’s Passion.  Services will be at 3 pm and 7 pm.
Holy Saturday (April 20) – Easter Vigil at 8 pm followed by a reception in the Cafeteria.
Easter Sunday (April 21) - There is no 5:30 pm Mass.

Notice that the Holy Water Fountains are empty.  We do this as a reminder of our journey with Jesus during Lent.
