Liturgical Ministries
- Volunteer instrumentalist: flutes, trumpet, and oboe
- Musicians for handbell choir
- Ushers for Sunday Masses
- Volunteers to assist with liturgical environment
Parish Life Ministries
- 55 and Over: Assistance with Program Planning
- Athletic Coaches for CYO Sports (girls' kickball, track, softball, soccer, and boys' football) and Indoor Sports (grade school basketball, girls' volleyball, and high school boys' basketball)
- Parish Activity Center Volunteers to assist with gate admissions, concessions, and setup and cleanup - for girls' volleyball and basketball games and boys' basketball games
Resource and Development
- Volunteers with various maintenance skills: landscape, trimming, painting, snow removal, etc.
- Volunteers for 3rd Source Income Development for St. Christopher School
- Track concession workers for the Indy 500, Brickyard 400, and MotoGP
- Volunteers to assist with development of marketing plan for St. Christopher School
Christian Service Ministries
- Greeters to welcome parishioners to Mass on Sundays; flexible scheduling (arrive 20 minutes before Mass)
- Caregivers to assist homebound with shopping, errands, etc.
- Funeral luncheon coordinators who will lead and assist others to set up, serve, and clean up after the Mass
- Sunday nursery volunteers during 10:30 a.m. Mass
- General volunteers to provide guidance for those who have fallen upon hardship or personal crisis with home management skills, car and home maintenance, healthcare concerns, job assistance, home visits to verify need status, etc.
- Helping the Homeless (Beggars for the Poor Program) - distribute food, clothing, personal care items to the homeless; St. Christopher group volunteers every 4th Saturday morning
- St. Vincent de Paul Warehouse (1201 E. Maryland) - assist with merchandise processing, stocking, client assistance, etc.; St. Christopher group helps every 6th Saturday
- St. Vincent de Paul Warehouse (1201 E. Maryland) - truck driver coordinator for the 1st or 3rd Saturday of each month to drive the SVdP trucks to pick up donated furniture and appliances; no CDL or physical exertion required
- St. Vincent de Paul Warehouse (1201 E. Maryland) - general volunteers are needed on weekdays and Saturdays (to meet your schedule). There is a critical need for volunteers (truck drivers) and assistants to pick up donated merchandise, to answer the telephone, sort clothes, assist clients, and repair appliances, furniture, etc.
- St. Vincent de Paul Warehouse (3001 E. 30th Street) - volunteers for assisting shoppers and stocking of items; St. Christopher group helps the second Saturday of every month
- St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry (3001 E. 30th Street) - general volunteers are needed on weekdays and Saturdays (to meet your schedule). There is a critical need for client intake volunteers, truck drivers, home delivery volunteers, and client helpers.
Faith Formation Ministries
- Sponsor couples for marriage preparation
- volunteers with theological background for Catholic Inquiry
- Sponsors for candidates in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program
- Volunteers to assist with Confirmation Program
- Adult assistants for Senior High (grades 9-12) Youth Ministry - 6:30 p.m. Sundays
- Catechists for CCD Program (Elementary Religious Education)
